The P9/PA elevator is double-ended with a sharp, wide rasp on one side and a sharp, teardrop-shaped rasp on the other. It is used to elevate, reflect and retract the mucoperiosteal flap following gingival incisions. The easy-to-clean grooves in the handle design ensure a secure grip and a maximum transfer of force. The matt handle surface reduces irritating light reflections.
